The minimum age for renting our vehicles is 21 years.
In order to drive, you must have a valid drivers license and for tourists a passport (as second ID).
Travelers staying longer than 14 days require an international drivers license. For USA travelers visit www.aaa.com and for the Netherlands visit www.anwb.nl.
A local tourist driving permit is also an option (available for purchase at the traffic police headquarters in Suriname) Politie Bureau Nieuwe Haven Department Driving License.
Payment Methods
Payment can be made with cash or via internet banking.
All costs will be calculated before the renter takes possession of the car. Prices are listed excluding V.A.T (Value added Tax is 10%).
A security deposit will also be calculated depending on vehicle type and rental period.

Always wear your seat belt and drive sober and drug-free.
Keep 100% of your attention on driving at all times (no multi-tasking).
Don’t allow children to fight or climb around in the car, they should be buckled in their seats at all times. Too much noise can easily distract you from focus on the road.
Don’t use your phone or any other electronic device while driving. Please use a hands free kit while driving.
All our cars are right-hand drive.

If you’re in an accident don’t move the rental car from the road. First make sure no one in the car is injured. Next, check on the passengers in the other vehicle to make sure they’re not hurt. If medical assistance is required call 115 (Local Police to Dispatch an ambulance). Please also call Garage de Paarl at +597-8808277 / +597-403600. Pictures of the scene are requested by the renter.
